ACCESSING THE SWC DURING COVID-19

Please note that access to the SWC is now through the McMaster Children’s Centre on the west side of the PGCLL building, on the left side of the stairs. Here is what to expect:

  1. All visitors and students must complete the Ontario Self-Screening Tool and take a screen shot to show to our staff. You can access the Ontario Self-Screening tool here.
  2. When you arrive at the McMaster Children’s Centre entrance, you will see an intercom to the right of the door.
  3. On the intercom, press #8, and then the button with the bell. The receptionist will ask your name and if you have an appointment, and then will buzz you into the building.
  4. Enter the building and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor.
  5. Follow the signage to the SWC. Do not cross the yellow and black barriers.
  6. Immediately sanitize your hands and sign in on the visitor sheet.
  7. Check in with the receptionist, showing your Self-Screen result screenshot, health card, and student ID.

Please call 905-525-9140 ext. 27700 to speak with a receptionist if you need an appointment or are having trouble finding us.
