Door Decorating with WellnessTuesday,January 31 @ 4pm in the Wellness Lounge
Lead by wellness counsellor Glenda van der Leeuw and Black X Scape, this art making and decorating session is for Black students looking to express themselves, build community, and engage with the center in an intimate context. No registration required.
Black Excellence Fatigue: A Conversation with Dr. Andrews Tuesday, February 14 @ 5pm in the Wellness Lounge
Student Co-Facilitated by Lawrence Wejuli and Counsellor Glenda van der Leeuw. Join the Wellness Centre for a special discussion with Professor Andrews to chat about Black Excellence fatigue, and navigating the Black identity in higher education. We’ll discuss the importance of reclaiming and practicing self-care and finding Black Joy. This event, curated by the Student Wellness Centre and this event is open to Black identifying students.
